SofiaScan is SOFIA’s OCR module. It uses artificial intelligence to read your documents — supplier invoices, receipts and more — extract the supplier, dates, amounts and VAT, and enter them into the system automatically. The document you used to type in by hand now enters itself, with the original stored alongside the entry.

In practice

A supplier invoice arrives. You scan it, photograph it or drop in the PDF. SofiaScan reads it with AI-powered OCR, recognises the supplier, the dates, the amounts and the VAT, and proposes the entry. You review it, approve it, and it is posted — no retyping, no transposed digits, no pile of paper waiting for a quiet afternoon.

The more documents you process, the better the recognition gets. And because every entry keeps its source document attached, finding the original later takes seconds, not a trip to the filing cabinet.
